Janette Hermann

Social Worker & Family Professional

Welcome to my Trauma-Informed and Child-Centred Private Practice.

I am Janette Hermann, a dedicated and experienced registered Social Worker and Family Professional. I specialise in providing forensic assessments, therapy, and counselling to individuals and families facing complex challenges, ensuring that children's well-being and safety are prioritised at all times.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Social Science in Criminal Justice Social Work at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Forensic Social Work. My research on factors influencing the decision-making process in South African judicial cases involving false sexual abuse allegations highlights my commitment to improving justice outcomes for vulnerable children and families. Through my work, I remain dedicated to safeguarding children and ensuring their voices are heard, no matter the challenges they face.

If you're seeking professional, compassionate, and expert guidance in navigating child abuse matters, forensic assessments, or family issues, you can trust that your case will be handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. Together, we can create a safer and more empowering environment for those in need.
